Songwriters at Play returns to Humdinger Brewing in San Luis Obispo. It's an Open Mic with a featured act, Mike Vitale, playing in the middle of the show. Runs 6:30-9. No cover.
Mike Vitale is a touring artist based in L.A. He is a finalist in this year's New Folk contest at the Kerrville (TX) Folk Festival. He plays many house concerts across the country, and major music venues, such as L.A.'s Hotel Cafe.

Steve Key Biography
Steve Key is an award-winning songwriter, performer and recording artist, best known as the writer of "33, 45, 78 (Record Time)" recorded by country music star Kathy Mattea. He now lives in Shell Beach on California's Central Coast. Steve Key performs solo, sometimes with guitar or fiddle backup. His latest album is called "How I Learned to Drink", a collection of 10 Key originals.
Before he arrived on the Central Coast 12 years ago, Steve was a touring folksinger who played major concert venues and folk festivals across the country and in Canada. His songs were covered by dozens of folk and country acts. He recorded for New York's Fast Folk label, which is now part of the Folkways collection at the Smithsonian.
