The Bucks County Beacon is excited to announce our 1st ever Beaconfest, a celebration of art, music, politics and life in Bucks County! The Bucks County Beacon is a reader-supported, popular, and participatory media outlet that acts as a catalyst for community organizing and action, and progressive change. Our work has been cited in other outlets such as Vanity Fair, Talking Points Memo, Wonkette, Salon, The Philadelphia Inquirer, WHYY, MSNBC, Keith Olbermann & elswehere. As Bucks County’s only local source for progressive news and opinion, our publication will bring together up and coming musicians from the area to support our continued coverage This June 1st, beloved local venue Snipes Farm will be host to a celebration of community, music, and activism to support the Bucks County Beacon. There will be 5 bands, food and drink vendors, as well as local sponsors and community groups.
