Miss Sosha Biography

Born in the heat of the summer when the tomatoes were ripe for picking. I was a Southern girl stuck in Minnesota. Even with this, I knew I wanted to sing country music very early on. Knowing this I worked to be a classically trained musician to have the fundamentals needed for a lifelong career.

Growing up I would sit and listen to country classic stars such as Patsy Cline, Hank Sr, and Buck Owens, Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, George Jones, and Merle Haggard. As I grew older, I learned to love the great outlaws including Waylon Jennings, Jessi Colter, Johnny Cash, David Allen Coe, and Johnny Paycheck. All of which inspire me to this day.

Now, an Arizona native since 2015, I feel I found my place. Located in central Arizona, I am in the middle of all the great music showcased throughout the state. In 2018, I met Rowdy Johnson, and soon after I became the lead harmony singer in the Rowdy Johnson band. In those two years, I am honored to be a protégé to Rowdy and the other band members; during that time, I learned about the industry and grew as a singer and songwriter. Now, I am striking out on my own with my band and starting to share my songs with the world.

In my short career, I have been blessed to share the stage with legends and friends including Billie Gant, Billy Don Burns, Bobby Keel, and obviously Rowdy Johnson. These great people have also influenced me greatly along with other singer-songwriters such as Angela Norris White and Billy Joe Shaver.

I also had the opportunity to play for many amazing events and locations. I had my official debut at the famous Museum Club in 2019. I have since played internationally, and at events such as Ride for the Warrior, Bikers Cruise’N For a Cure, various VFWs, American Legions, and many biker clubhouses and events.

I look forward to being able to get out into the world and sharing my music with everyone willing to experience it. I also want to thank everyone who took the time and interest to help me along with my journey and all of those who take an interest in my sound. I wouldn’t be anywhere without them, and without y’all, the amazing friends and fans! Thank you!
