Cinzia & the Eclipse Biography
Mirroring the cathartic reassurance of a close friend during tough times or the celebratory energy of a meaningful connection, Cinzia & the Eclipse strips away the ostentatious flare of modern songwriting to reveal the relatable side of relationships, self-discovery, and growth with her music.
The Montreal-born, Toronto-based artist released her debut single in 2018 with the help of long-time friend/collaborator Luca Liberatore, and Cinzia quickly found her audience with the single “No Matter”, reaching over 6 million streams through editorial placements.
The last few years have been dedicated to honing her craft. Lending her skills as a songwriter, having her discography highlighted on editorial playlists and sync placements including the Disney+ series Growing Up (2022), sharing the stage with the likes of Jonathon Roy, and Monowhales, and performing at festivals such as POP, CMW, and NXNE have helped to continue to accumulate millions of streams from around the world.
Her EP Springland (2024) continues to showcase her precision as a songwriter who can balance energizing and emotional with a captivating ease as she finds inspiration from heartbreak, nostalgia, and the human condition. Cinzia’s signature sound of blending pop and organic folk is redefined and has even greater depth as she continues to charm and dazzle her listeners. Her iconic vocal tone and playful phrasing have helped to establish her as one to watch, and Springland carries all of that into an exciting next chapter.
