Aeon Nexus Biography
Brisbane-based progressive metalcore outfit Aeon Nexus melds futuristic djent grooves and raw metal aggression with ethereal pop sensibilities to create a sound that is impossible to define, taking influence from the likes of Spiritbox, Sleep Token and Tesseract. The new vision of mainstay Brisbane metal frontwoman Sam Wolstenholme, Aeon Nexus delivers a complex, compelling sonic experience, shaping aural architecture through which we can glimpse the power of the present and the uncertainty of the future.
In the short time since they formed in late 2023, Aeon Nexus have begun making waves in the Brisbane metal scene, kicking off 2024 with a debut gig supporting Citadel. The imminent release of their debut single "Twin Hurricanes" on Friday 10th May will be the first in a series of singles set to release over the coming months, culminating in a full EP release in spring 2024. Already booking shows across Queensland right out to the end of the year, it's an explosive start for the promising quartet.
