Bio English: Amy and Ryan’s paths crossed on stage. Together they were part of the country pop band "TinkaBelle". Signed to Warner Music Central Europe, they have released two gold albums, recorded a duet with soul singer Seal, opened for Status Quo twice and released several airplay top 10 songs and … the quality of the live performance faded more and more into the background; Something that Amy & Ryan, who play music with all their heart, couldn't and didn't want to be satisfied with.
They wanted more: More musicality, more substance, more authenticity. They left the band and reformed as a folk pop duo under the name Birds of a Feather. The name symbolizes their kinship. They deliberately went where a singer-songwriter's career should begin: To the audience, on the street. Their first EP was released in 2015. And the two have been touring ever since - so far they have traveled to Germany, Holland, Denmark and Austria. At first they performed on street corners, now they play in small clubs. And so, with four recordings already in their luggage, Amy & Ryan are gradually gaining a loyal fan base which is slowly and steadily growing. Fans travel for hours to see the Birds play. All Birds of a Feather shows have one thing in common: They radiate positivity and captivate their audience musically and emotionally. Because you always recognize yourself a little bit in the sometimes painfully honest lyrics. And that's what makes good singer-songwriters.
