sarya (they/them) is a Taiwanese-American singer-songwriter/poet based in Seattle. they were previously based in Edinburgh and Taipei, where they began to make music in 2017.
sarya’s work stems from spoken word and DIY music scenes, using emotional lyrics to fuel their ethereal vocals. sarya likes to play with video game inspired electronic 8-bit noises to make songs about the worries of everyday life. Spanning across multiple genres and always keen to experiment, sarya has over 1,000,000 streams for their latest EP, "take care of yourself".
