RinRin Biography
RinRin, the brainchild of Perth-based singer-songwriter and guitarist Qarin Hipe, blends pop-punk and metal influences to create her own energetic sound, drawing inspiration from artists like BABYMETAL, Poppy, and Bring Me The Horizon. Backed by her 3-piece band, she's toured extensively, supporting acts like The Plot In You, ERRA, Windwaker, RedHook To Octavia and Patient 67. Represented by Destroy All Lines and Triumph Music, her accolades include winning the 2023 WAM Song of The Year award for Best Heavy/Metal Song with 'Guns and Grenades' and 2nd runner-up overall. With two recent single releases, RinRin is gearing towards marrying her signature heavy vibes with hyper-pop for her upcoming EP, amidst tours in Australia, China (supporting Walk Off The Earth), and support slots for Caskets (UK) and The Home Team (US). She's also working on her debut album slated for 2025 and will be touring Australia's east once more as main support for Reliqa's album tour in June this year.
