Poster Girl is an Alternative Rock band formed in 2023 in Chicago, IL.
Poster Girl is a 5-piece band made up of members: Lead singer & guitarist Makayla Meister, Dominic Guzaldo on lead guitar, bassist Kevin Ward, Garrett Jones on keys and drummer Matt Baker.
Poster Girl's music is evocative of 90’s alternative & has been compared to 90’s artists like: Garbage, Mazzy Star, The Cranberries and Meredith Brooks.
The music has a nostalgic distortion in every song layered underneath melodic vocals, with interlacing upbeat riffs and catchy hooks
Poster Girl has opened for National and Regional acts including: Macy Gray, Tom Sandoval, Aly & Aj, and others.
