About this concert
Clean Girl and the Dirty Dishes, a two piece artsy kitschy garage band with a big sound make their debut in the Big Apple! Hailing from behind the Redwood Curtain; deep in the giant forests of Northern CA in Humboldt County, the duo brings a repertoire of original songs that are hard to fit in a genre, and their multitude of influences, from The Mummies to Francoise Hardy and The Ronettes, can be heard! They'll be playing a curated collection of poetic songs about rock n roll, art, and the tragedy we call life
THE JACKSON PINKS
featuring Chris Rael, Chris Smylie, Marlon Cherry, Susan Hwang, Charlie Nieland, Henry Tenney, and Don Rauf
The Jackson Pinks are a super group.
If you need us to qualify super, we can add that the group features members of Church of Betty, Life in a Blender, Lusterlit, the Highland Shatners, and more. They cover songs in surprising and upsetting ways that often turn audiences into howling gyrating beasts, tongues extended. Imagine if BTS were nothing like BTS, but rather a melody-spewing jalopy letting off an irresistible steam that unleashes the Id and delivers human portals to destinations of maximum unclenching.

Susan Hwang Biography
Recipe for a good time or something close: accordion, vocals, traditional Korean drum, excessive lyrics, questionable fashion choices, infinite banter.
