HELIUM PRESENTS: MONICA NEVI
Monica Nevi is a native of Washington State, having grown up about 20 minutes south of Seattle, in the glory of Renton, Washington. A collegiate basketball player, after injuries ended her career she decided to move forward with the other thing people love for women to do and pursue her strong interest in stand-up comedy. Years later, Monica is an internationally touring stand-up comedian, performing in festivals, clubs, and colleges all over. She created, produced, and hosts the documentary series called "80 For 80." She has been seen on FOX’s "Laughs," as well as in sketches on ESPN’s "Sports Center." Monica’s debut stand-up album, "Mostly Finger Guns," was #1 on the comedy charts followed a month later by her #1 comedic guided meditation album "Chill." You can also find her weekly podcast “Dumb Pitches” on the Helium Podcast Network.

I am grateful Fargo has a comedy club, but the venue, Boss' Pizza and Chicken, could use some ambiance sprucing up if they're having shows in the basement.

Monica Nevi Biography
Monica Nevi's newest special “Big Stepdad Energy” was filmed in Philadelphia with Helium Comedy Studios and released in October 2022. It was voted top 50 specials of the year by We Own The Laughs magazine.
She has appeared on FOX’s nationally syndicated TV show ‘Laughs’ and ESPN’s Sports Center, as well as Seattle based television programs ‘New Day Northwest’ and ‘[the 206]’
Monica released her documentary series ’80 For 80′ on Amazon Prime Video in 2018, where she hosts and interviews hilarious short episodes with people over the age of 80. It is available now on YouTube.
She debuted two albums in late 2020 within one month of each other. Her first standup album, Mostly Finger Guns followed by her debut comedic guided meditation Chill. Both went #1 on the comedy charts.
Monica is regularly touring nationally and internationally and can be seen performing in clubs, colleges, theaters, comic book shops and Thai restaurants all over.
