About this concert
Artists Jakob Lindhagen and Fabian "Klangriket" Rosenberg have both been recognized internationally within the postclassical/ ambient scene, and invite to a joint release party! Film composer Jakob Lindhagen has i.e scored two Cannes-competing films, was recently nominated at "Music & Cinema Marseille" for his score to Norwegian drama "My Wonderful Stranger", and his music has streamed in the millions and been played at BBC, KEXP etc. Via Icelandic/ American label I N N I he is now releasing the ambitious "Stages Of Change" - a genre-bending conceptual EP about large-scale, collective changes, accompanied by stop motion-animation from beginning to end by his constant collaborator Sofia Nystrand, a.k.a Vargkvint. The concert will be played together with and synced to the images. With his roots as a jazz trumpetist, Stockholm-based Fabian Rosenberg has with his moniker "Klangriket" found his own expression within ambient, electronic instrumental music, that has been described as "a breath of fresh air" by established blog Headphone Commute. Together with Dutch musician Sjors Mans he released the album "Origami Birds" in 2024, based on Hiroshima-survivor Sadako Sasaki and the cranes folded in her memory. The concert at Reimersholme Hotel will be the first time the music is performed live.
