Spawned in Vienna, Austria, AD 2005, Lowbau have been grinding on to spread the word of the riff. Their energetic live shows have brought them before crowds all over Europe and got them to share the stage with some of the heaviest-duty riff lords like Crowbar, Eyehategod, Grand Magus, 1000 Mods, Stoned Jesus, Dopelord and many many more.
Their sound is abrasive, riff loaded, bluesy and punk-driven trashy. From the doomy start on “The EP” to the metallic bluesy sludge on “A darker shade of blues”, the psyched-punk and roll that is “Urban Voodoo” and the epic battle gospel on “Still there is war”, Lowbau show themselves to be too massive to be shipped in a box.
In the year 2023, the band is once again under the spell of its strings and will bring you its new tunes over the course of 2024/25, through speakers and on a stage. The power of the riff compels you? Come…
