At his songwriting workshops, Brody gives a look at the process of how to write songs, and invites attendees into the creative process. Examples, tips, and demonstrations will be offered throughout. The event is designed for attendees to feel more equipped emotionally, artistically, and technically to write their own songs. Topics include: • The promise and possibility of writing a song • Elements of a song • Methods and ideas for getting started on writing a song • How to gain the courage to write a song • Workshopping ideas, LIVE • Helpful tools and tips for songwriters The event is open to all, and no specific musical skills are required to attend — although musicians may find the content most appealing. Attendees are welcome to bring their instruments, but that is not required. The workshop is entirely interactive, with the group engaging in discussion and co-creation activities throughout.
