Nick James Beaton

Nick James Beaton is not only a mesmerizing guitarist, but he captivates his audience with his soulful voice and intimate songwriting.

Nick was 13 years old when he first picked up a guitar. Close to three decades later, he has become an accomplished guitarist and musician, having performed on stages across Canada and the US, most recently as part of acclaimed Canadian rock group Autumns Cannon. His influences are steeped in blues, rock, folk and americana, including Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix and Ryan Adams.
While Nick was always content being a side musician, it took surmounting life's many challenges for him to finally put pen to paper and find his voice as both a singer and songwriter. Over the past few years, Nick has been in the studio recording a first body of original work that will be released in 2024. These songs are at once raw, edgy, and intimate, recounting the sorrows of loss and brokenness, all the while finding strength and courage in starting anew.
