About this concert
Tucsonan (and former Phoenician) Jennifer Spector returns to the Glendale Library after 20 years to showcase her award-winning songwriting, uncommon vocal talent and a genre-bending guitar style. Her music is anchored in traditional folk, influenced by the smart sassiness of jazz and rootsy Americana. She has been a Top Ten National Songwriting Finalist at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Tumbleweed Folk Festival, and the Tucson Folk Festival.
From hitch-hiking chickens to tango-dancing Martians, Deb Seymour's whimsical song subjects will have you laughing one moment and moved to tears the next. With over 40 years captivating audiences, her emotive vocals and skilled guitar playing weave tales that tickle the imagination and tug at the heartstrings. A truly engaging entertainer, Deb's wit and wisdom resonate deeply, leaving listeners both entertained and profoundly touched.
Eric Douglas is a songwriter who paints an American landscape, with stories from the Southwestern desert, the Great Plains, and the open road. His songs combine folk, Americana, blues, and jazz, and his songwriting has been recognized in nationwide competitions. Eric began performing in New York City bars and coffeehouses in the late 90s, and has lived in Arizona since 2002.
