Svavar Knutur Biography
Icelandic singer-songwriter Svavar Knútur is a troubadour whose artistic style stems from humble beginnings, an upbringing on sub-arctic farms and fishing villages. Svavar carefully crafts stories into each one of his compositions. In a way, he has simultanously defied and embraced his working-class roots by becoming an artist dedicated to the heritage and legacy of his traumatised culture and community.
