About this concert
Our wooded Gate opens at 6: 30 and the music will start at 7:30 p.m. Reservations/prepayment are highly suggested for this concert or you can pay at the gate. The cost is $15.00 for the concert and $10.00 for the optional dinner starting at 7:00. You can prepay on the website “www.sacredlandspreservation.org” on the DONATE button on the home page. You can use any debit or credit card. After payment is made your name will be added to a “Reservation” list for check in at the gate. Weather permitting this concert will be on the outside stage where there is lots of room for dancing. An optional homemade dinner will be available with a main entree, green salad, fruit, and brownie for $10.00. Please add the cost of dinners to your pay-pal payment or call 727-347-0354 to reserve your dinners at the same time as concert reservation so we have enough food available. Any other questions please contact the music coordinator at 727-367-3592. PARKING DIRECTIONS: Sacred Lands, 1700 Park St., St. Petersburg, FL 33710. Turn off Park Street by the JP Tavern sign at Elbow Lane. Drive past their parking area towards the boat ramp but turn LEFT before it into big parking lot. Go to south end of lot to wooded gate entrance. Admission: $15.00 (Homemade Meal optional $10.00)

Mean Mary Biography

Mean Mary (Mary James), a Florida native now based in Nashville, began life as a musical prodigy—could read music before she could read words and co-wrote songs at age five. By age seven she was proficient on the guitar, banjo, & violin, and entertained audiences across the US with her vocal and instrumental skills. Her life has been one long road show interspersed with TV, radio, and film.

To date she plays 11 instruments and is known for her alluring story songs, incredible instrumental speed, & rich voice that can travel from deep emotion to sparkling trills. She is also an award-winning book author, and the fun loving star of Nashville TV show, Never-Ending Street.
