Cowboys, Cowgirls, and all Cowpokes in between, Rebecca Porter will be fronting The Little Dogies on Tuesday May 7th at Dürty Nelly's! Named after the motherless calves that inspired cowboy ballads, The Little Dogies are a backing band dedicated to paying tribute to classic Country and Western music. This will be the first of many gigs where we invite a different singer to front The Little Dogies. They pick the songs, we learn them, and then we perform them together at Charlottesville’s finest honky tonk, Dürty Nelly’s. This is a way for us to showcase different artists in the region, while adding another night of country music in our community….and let’s be honest, it’s just a great excuse to play some of our favorite country songs at our favorite bar.
