Turkey-Bone & Full Count Biography
Turkey-Bone & Full Count Band is a seasoned blues band local to the Kansas City Area. We have been playing continuously as a band for the last eight years. We play a unique style of music that is reminiscent of the old KC blues/swing music that originated in the 18th and Vine Jazz District.
Our music also mixes R&B, Soul, Jazz, and Rock. Though we book ourselves mainly as a blues band, our wide variety of music styles makes us perfect for many parties and corporate events. It’s danceable and appeals to many people. This is a professional band with the experience to adapt to many different venues and audiences.
Some highlights of the band are that Turkey-Bone & Full Count Band was the runner-up for the IBC (International Blues Competition) and was also featured in an interview as part of the PBS American Masters featured us for our style of music and being a part of the Jazz District music scene.
