Taliya Hafiz Biography
Taliya Hafiz is a singer-songwriter, composer, producer whose multi-lingual abilities see her make music with lyrics in seven different languages including English ("Sunset Delight"), French ("Une chanson, un miroir"), Japanese ("Just Not You"). With English being the language of her mind, French the language of her heart and the Turkic dialect of Tatar the tongue of her DNA ("Chevrefeuille"), she flutters between the varying vehicles of speech to best suit her current artistic expression.
Sharing her spellbinding vocal prowess and songwriting talents, she released a string of stunning singles over the last 5 years and a debut record titled "Sensations" in 2021, which won several awards: Best Album by Music Durham (UK), Best Love Songs from BHW (USA), Top Chansons Françaises from Références Bien Être (France). It was signed to Ytinifni Pictures (US) in 2024.
Having collaborated with artists, record labels, and publishers around the world (Majorhitrecords, Paravitta Records, AMP Publishing), she now brings us her new single "Just Not You" in several incarnations / versions. Weaving a delicate and moving sound in her typical romantic style, "Just Not You" sees Taliya Hafiz spin her alluring vocal work over a sparse arrangement of piano and intricate sonic textures.
Taliya Hafiz has been featured on BBC Music with "Connect to the Stars", RTI Hits, and iHeart Radio.
