Leo Abisaab Biography
Leo Abisaab is a 20-year-old award-winning vocalist from Western Sydney. He has a unique and powerful sound influenced by his love of neo-soul, R&B, funk, pop, and music from his Arabic roots, fusing them together creating a sense of a modern soul experience.
Leo's experience in the Australian music industry extends well beyond his years. He has worked with and been mentored by a few of the biggest names in music, including Boy George, Joe Jonas, and Adam Lambert. At just 14 years of age, Leo starred on Channel 9's The Voice, placing in the top 24 and making history by becoming the youngest artist to ever compete on the show at the time. In 2019, Leo secured a spot as a Featured Artist in the record-breaking Schools Spectacular and performed to an audience of over 15,000 at Qudos Bank Arena.
Throughout his career, Leo has been nominated for awards such as the '7NEWS Young Achievers Award' and a prestigious 'MO Award’.
Leo is currently performing around Sydney, doing solo gigs while studying music and exploring his abilities as a songwriter, with the hopes of recording and releasing his original music in the near future.
