Dreamkillers From Brisbane Australia. Biography

In the heart of Brisbane's underground metal scene, Dreamkillers, have stood as an institution, earning reverence in many circles while embracing an aura of mystique. Now, after years of resilience and dedication, the band is gearing up for an exciting journey in 2024 with the release of a new track each month.

Formed in 1990, Dreamkillers broke new ground in the early '90s with their pioneering blend of punk and metal. Vocalist Les Jobson, an enigmatic figure passionate about his lyrics, leads the band through a tumultuous yet impactful journey. Their debut EP, "Poison in the Soup" (1992), marked the beginning of a musical legacy that defied categorization. Major labels took notice, leading to a five-album deal with Roadrunner Records Australia. However, poor management and touring challenges led to the premature end of the deal after only two albums.

The band has forged a unique identity with their fusion of punk and metal, marked by resilience, controversy, and an unwavering commitment to their musical roots. As they embark on a new chapter in 2024, Dreamkillers invites fans to join them on this sonic adventure.
