About this concert
The Gasoline Gypsies, Sonic Coast Radio, The Huron Lady II and The Foundry present; Gravel Roads Gravel Roads is the beginning of a new direction for The Gasolione Gypsies. Our first new EP since 2018, The release of Gravel Roads will be coupled with another EP release this fall. These two projects are the best recordings we've ever produced. We're shoring up our efforts with an agressive plan of national distribution and advertising aimed at radio play and tour production. "Gravel Roads" is about the road. It is the adventures we've experienced and the new escapades that our closest supporters are helping us write in the future. We can't think of a better way to kick off this critical and ambitious campaign than to have an adventure with you. It's both a nod to our hometown, and a chance to celebrate the EP Gravel Roads with our VIPs, our Vagabundos, who are the true backbone of the body of music that is The Gasoline Gypsies. Gravel Roads invokes images of travel and adventure. So on June 1st, our VIPs will join us with our partners from The Huron Lady II, Sonic Coast, and The Foundry for a Great Lakes waters' cruise. We will be treated to two hours of sights from under the bridge, breezes across the sparkling Great Lakes waters, and picturesque Port Huron skylines. Food, soft drinks, and adult beverages are included. Of course, since we are here for the music, there will be music...an on deck jam is sure to happen. All cruisers also get an autographed copy of Gravel Roads, and an event poster. Huron Lady II will shove off from 102 Huron Ave. at 4 sharp. The Foundry in Port Huron has fast become known for steller sound in a most intimate and welcoming atmoshphere. Doors for this limited seating show will open at 7. Music Starts at 8, with our friend Dan Tillery. Dan's music is a no holds barred commentary on the struggles of his life, his failures and his victories. His story is an honest and uplifting tale of tenacity, hope, and joy. We are thrilled to have Dan joining our family on this special day. These events are designed to be up close, personal experiences, so tickets are limited. Join us for the cruise, or just the show that evening, or both. Click "tickets" at the top of this page. See you June 1st!

The Gasoline Gypsies Biography

Playing Rock and Roll, inspired by the roots of the art, with tastes of blues and southern rock influences, The Gasoline Gypsies combine hard work, mature poetry, and stellar musicianship to create shows that can acoustically move the souls of listening room audiences, or thrill bodies into motion at full blown, electric rock shows.
Dual lead guitar work, crisp three part harmonies, melodic bass lines, and hard hitting drums combine to reverently pay homage to the past, while keeping a laser focused eye on a future revolution of unique and fresh music that feels like the roots of rock and roll.

The Gasoline Gypsies have grown exponentially the past couple years. They’ve racked up five major Detroit Music Awards, were named one of the three “Best Unsigned American Bands” by JBL Sound, won the 2017 Michigan State Fair Superstar Contest, took the title of Best Original Rock Band in Michigan in the 2018 WDIV Click on Detroit Local 4 Detroit Viewers Poll.

The Gypsies recently have earned regular rotation radio air play in markets outside of the Midwest, most notably, the Triangle Markets of the Carolinas, and they will be touring the southeast in early 2020.

Vagabundos, their most recent EP, has animated a loyal fan base, naming themselves after the recording’s title. These dedicated “Vagabundos,” are a critical essence to all that is The Gasoline Gypsies. They’ve given rise to a band tribe that travels to festivals, engages in band experiences, and provides a sense of community that bonds over experiencing amazing friendship, and living in that sweet, sweet music, that is starting a Roots Rock Revolution.
