From tribute artists and oldies to afrofunk and bluegrass, Summer Concert Series showcases professional musicians from a wide range of musical backgrounds. Previous artists have included jazz legend Charlie Byrd, Spyro Gyro’s Scott Ambush and Julio Fernandez, country chart-climber Cleve Francis, Bluegrass favorite Railroad Earth, L.A.-based latin group Incendio, bluesman Tom Principato and many more.

Oh my Goodness! Wow! I don't have any other words to describe this band!! They have a wealth of talent, and the ability to energize the crowd with their music and their soulful lyrics.
I hadn't heard of this band before the Jazz festival, and I wasn't expecting anything extraordinary, but boy were they just that!
So ,I am officially a follower, and will be spreading the word to all of my friends and family! Very proud of these young men; congratulations to you and prayers for abundant success!

DuPont Brass Biography
DuPont Brass is an eclectic, soulful, brass ensemble hailing from the DMV (DC, MD, VA) Area. Originally composed of five music majors from Howard University trying to raise money for tuition during the Christmas season, DuPont Brass has now grown to a 9-piece ensemble consisting of brass and a rhythm section.
