About this concert
Capital City Voices @Levine School of Music is a community Adult Jazz Choir that meets Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30pm and sings in all the different genres of Jazz. This Year we are featuring Christa Cuervo as our featured singer.
Alison Crockett has been the musical director of this chorus since 2022.

Ms. Crockett was amazing!! She is the full package. A gifted performer and a teacher to anyone willing to be open to new ideas. Her performance was engaging, spiritual, sexy, comforting, exciting and soothing to the soul all at once. She has energy and swagger. Loved every bit of it. If you ever get an opportunity to see her perform go and bring all your friends. And purchase her albums as well. Mr. Henry's was a cozy, friendly place to dine and grove with Alison Crockett!!

Alison Crockett is a DMV based vocalist, pianist and songwriter whose style is 'steeped' in a deep Soul tradition, with generous helpings of Jazz and Blues. Taking her cue from divas of the past and present such as Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Donna Summer, Diana Ross and Sarah Vaughn, this Brooklyn, New York based singer/songwriter and pianist is destined for greatness.
