Jake Green

30 fucking years since I first set foot on stage at Jake Green 30 year Mojo Blues Bar anniversary.... I guess I should do something to mark the occasion. I am playing a solo concert this Sunday at 10pm CET (guess where), so drop by and wish me happy anniversary or taunt me for being an old man or whatever. Some key points along the way: 1994 - Met @Danny Linde "Dee Boy Junior" Bluesman at Apoteket Hellerup and was told to come to Mojo Blues Bar. 2007 - acquired the green Les Paul and decided I had to earn it by getting serious about playing. 2008 - formed band Usual Suspects 2010 - formed Jake Green Band 2011 - Put out first JGB album "Live at Malmö festival". 2013 - Quit day job to only live off playing my music. 2014 - Started playing acoustic solo gigs. 2015 - Put out second JGB album "Plugging in". 2017 - Was awarded "Blues name of the year". 2019 - Put out first acoustic solo album "Rough spring". 2019 - Put out third JGB album "7 years after". 2020 - Started streaming online. All in all, between attending and hosting the Thursday night jams, playing Fridays and Saturdays with my bands, playing solo concerts on Sundays, attending and hosting the MOJO Monday Night Juke Joint on Mondays, and playing duo and solo concerts and late night shows on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I can confidently claim that I have stepped onto the Mojo stage more times than anyone else in the last 30 years.
