Founded in 2012 in Wilmington, The Ladybug Festival continues to be the LARGEST free celebration of women in music in the United States, proudly empowering and giving platforms to women in all areas of music event production. This year's Wilmington Ladybug Music Festival takes place on Friday, May 31 between the 400 & 500 Blocks of Market Street in Wilmington, Delaware from 5:00 - 10:00 pm. Over 30 women-fronted bands, duos, and singer-songwriters of different genres, from across the country, Canada, Ireland, and France will be featured on 8 different stages with Philly Ska band Catbite as the featured headliner. Come enjoy local food truck favorites, dessert creations, and adult beverages, and support small businesses by shopping the day's street merchant vendors and local Market St. businesses!
