Drawing deeply from blues, rock, folk and world music, with a penchant for slide guitar and a distinctive deep growling voice, the songs and virtuoso guitar playing of John Fairhurst, delivered in pure raconteur style, narrate all the wild first hand experiences of a life on the road
Hailed by Acoustic Guitar Magazine USA as one of the Top Resonator guitar players worldwide, John has released 5 albums over the last 10 years as both a solo artist and with his full electric band. ‘The Divided Kingdom’, was released in April 2019 to international critical acclaim.
After taking a 5 year hiatus, John is preparing to dip his toe back into playing live in 2024, with a small number of carefully selected shows in the UK and Europe.
A new album is on the horizon. It will be a catharsis. See you out there on the road!
