Asha Jefferies Biography
Originally hailing from the Northern Rivers but raised in Brisbane, Asha Jefferies is best known her melancholic pop songs and distinctive vocals. Her debut album ‘Ego Ride’ will be out 12th April 2024 through Nettwerk Music Group. Created in collaboration with Ball Park Music’s Sam Cromack – the album will speak to an audience of deeply-feeling listeners searching for the courage to take a step of faith, without knowing where it will lead.
Asha has previously toured the country played with Lord Huron, Julia Jacklin, Lime Cordiale, Hope D, Noah Dillon, City and Colour, Paul Dempsey and more. She has played festival slots at BIGSOUND, Icebreaker Festival, Mountain Goat Valley Crawl, Against The Grain, Bluesfest, Woodford Folk and Mullum Music Festivals.
Asha has won a Queensland Music Award, triple j Unearthed's NIDA Competition and has been a finalist for both the Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition and the International Songwriting Competition (ISC).
