Sergio Napoletano

After years spent perfecting his craft as a guitarist in Staten Island’s rich and diverse local music scene as well as becoming a fixture at various acoustic showcases, singer/songwriter Sergio Napoletano has found his stride… and his bandmates. As a live act, the band can go from light and airy to gritty and tight, sometimes trading in their sweet polished, Americana sound for a more clunky indie-rock vibe which often demonstrates the real strength of their music: concise, well-written songs and undeniable musical chemistry. Sergio imbibes the tradition of the great American songwriters… with the universal appeal of straight rock and roll.

His latest EP, ‘Memory Aisle’ was written over the last few years but draws on influences both past and present. Interchanging genres smoothly and effortlessly as if Tom Petty, Dinosaur Jr. and Beck were all friends in the 90’s (which is quite possible.) The EP takes off and lands in different areas across the musical spectrum and gives you just enough to take the trip again and again.
