Dear Ex is a musical about a big break up. In 2019, Be Steadwell's musical production featured an all BIPOC, queer and trans cast in DC and Oakland theaters. The musical tells the story of heartbreak through a series of letters, scenes and songs. Dear Ex explores themes of self love, addiction, twerking, sex, life and death through the lens of a heartbroken, queer Black woman. You're invited to be among the first to hear Be Steadwell's queer musical album. Dear Ex features voices from both DC and Oakland cast members.
