Slow Leaves

Slow Leaves is the project of Winnipeg’s Grant Davidson. His music calls to mind an old country-folk record newly discovered in your parent's attic. One of only three winners of the inaugural Allan Slaight JUNO Master Class (2015), his music has been #1 on !earshot National Folk/Roots/Blues Chart, #11 on CBC Radio 2 Top 20, and featured on CBC's Definitely Not The Opera, The Vinyl Cafe, and The Next Chapter. Slow Leaves is often joined by band members Jason Tait (Weakerthans, Bahamas), Julie Penner (Broken Social Scene, Do Make Say Think), and Rusty Matyas (Imaginary Cities, Sheepdogs). Known for his easy delivery of sincere, poetic lyrics and lilting melodies, Slow Leaves’ songs linger in the timeless spaces where heart and Canadian humility endure.
