Delighted to have Tim with us as part of the SoundBox 2024 Spring Thing, playing a set including music from a brand-new album of songs and instrumental dexterity (due out Spring 2024 - perfect timing!), as well as popular favourites from his repertoire. Tim brings remarkable musical virtuosity, along with his engaging personality and a sense of fun, in a show that celebrates the music of both the folk & Celtic traditions, gypsy jazz, World & Classical European music, bluegrass & strong chorus songs. Add to all that poignant songs, astonishing musical departures and lively humour, and the result is a truly memorable live show that impresses both on the festival field and in the homely intimacy of a house concert. As well as his solo work, Dan is a member of the renowned Urban Folk Quartet, and has also performed in a number of successful duo collaborations - the most recent being with country-blues exponent Brooks Williams. Dan is an in-demand session musician, and has recorded seven solo albums. We're very pleased to have him back to play the first-half set for us at this show.
