GENEVIEVE CHADWICK

A Night of Acoustic Folk & Blues Guitar, featuring Dom Turner, Genevieve Chadwick & Shane Pacey. They will present a selection of traditional folk and blues songs as well as originals, in solo mode, and together as part of a classic folk-festival style ‘Round Robin’. Dom is best known as the guitarist/vocalist and founding member of the multi-awarded Australian blues group, The Backsliders, & his work with US artists such as Nikki Brown and Phil Wiggins. Genevieve Chadwick is an acclaimed blues/roots singer-songwriter known for her powerful, soulful voice, her spirit-lifting, kinetic guitar-work, and the directness of her songwriting. Shane Pacey is known for his lead roles in the legendary blues bands, The Bondi Cigars and The Foreday Riders. However, he also has a little-known deep love of British and Irish folk music, and is highly skilled in the fingerpicking guitar styles of these genera. He will present his versions of a number of songs in the folk & blues traditions.
