Paper Covers Rock (US) Biography
Introducing Paper Covers Rock, the one-man band hailing from the war-torn death valley of Southside Chicago and now calling Boston its home. But before forming Paper Covers Rock, Jim Barakat cut his teeth playing in the emotive pop-punk band, 3 Seconds Too Short, until they disbanded in the early 2000s.
Born out of a teenage passion for raw and unorthodox music, Paper Covers Rock channels the essence of melancholic angst into powerful, and stirring tunes that delve deep into the complexities of love and loss that are underscored by their honesty and intensity.
With the release of "The Black and White EP," Paper Covers Rock continues to push boundaries and recapture the essence of their signature sound. With a blend of heartfelt lyrics and gritty guitars, Paper Covers Rock's latest demonstrates raw emotion, vulnerability, and heartbreak that resonates with audiences far and wide.
