Emerging from the Lebanese Metal & Rock 'n' Roll scene, Karim found the feeling of belonging in Ottawa's live music scene as it revolves around genres that inspired his confidence to showcase his voice in Contemporary Rhythm & Blues. The dream of forming the Rock / Metal band "Grisogone" has finally come true. The name of the band originates from the Lebanese-Italian Black Diamond brand "De Grisogono" in which the word "Grisogone" itself translates to the "Gone Black Diamond", with black diamonds being rare, the meaning behind the name is the "gone rare love".
