We'll be back at the annual Addington Community Fate this November. There'll be fun for all the family and live music throughout the day. Last year it got a bit chilly so bring something warm just in case!

The guys gave a great performance at the Community Fair on Saturday. Pete's guitar technique strongly supported the gig with nicely played sections throughout the 45 minute set. Clear strong vocals from Jo along with close harmonies from Pete. Looking forward to seeing them again, maybe in-doors, when there isn't a cool wind blowing. It did get cold towards the end but the Wax Birds didn't show it and delivered the goods with style. Lots of familiar tunes, even did "Stuck In The Middle With You" as a crowd pleaser, and then were asked to an encore.

We are The Wax Birds, an Acoustic Duo.
We're originally from West Yorkshire in the UK but currently reside in the South island of New Zealand.
We released our first full album in November 2020, followed by another in 2023. We are currently planning and recording our 3rd album. Watch this space!
