UB40 featuring Ali Campbell

It was a great show but saw Ali in April before he took ill and him and the band were fab missed Frank Benbini from this show. Ali still brilliant but seemed tired but still a great night 👏👏

I'm really looking forward to Newcastle... time flies so slowly... 🎸🎤 I've been a very big UB40 fan since I was born. I also went with Ali in 2008 because he is the voice of UB40. That's crystal clear !!! He is absolutely irreplaceable !!! Ali is a master at what he does !!! Ali's voice is unmistakable and absolutely phenomenal. His voice has a lot of feeling, emotion and his shows are always fantastic. All in all, for me he is the best reggae singer of all time. HE was, is and always will be. HE IS UB40 !!! Es war eine fantastische Reggae Night in Amsterdam. Ali's Stimme ist fantastisch, mit so viel Gefühl, Emotionen und sein Wiedererkennungswert ist phänomenal und einzigartig. Ich höre ihn, seit ich geboren wurde, jetzt bin ich 44 und ich liebe seine Musik immer noch. Seine Shows sind einfach fantastisch !!! Jetzt beim Blacksheep Festival, in Bad Rappenau Deutschland, war er wieder grandios. Beim nächsten Konzert geht es für mich nach England, Manchester... !!! It was a fantastic reggae night in Amsterdam. Ali's voice is fantastic, with so much feeling, emotion and his recognisability is phenomenal and unique. I've been listening to him since I was born, now I'm 44 and I still love his music. His shows are just fantastic !!! Now at the Blacksheep Festival, in Bad Rappenau Germany, he was great again. At the next concert I'm going to England, Manchester...!!! I'm addicted to UB40 FEATURING ALI CAMPBELL !!! 😁 In Big Love my Ali ❤️💛💚

Ali and the Band on top form, his voice is still amazing. For me the downside on the night was the support. I would of loved to see someone like hollie cook or a few reggae bands. Not the two sets of djs. The poster advertising the gig said special guests. Nothing special in what we got.(for me) But UB40 TOP TOP NIGHT.

I love ub40 so much! Fantastic apart from the herds of people they let in. Didn’t really get to see the stage.

UB40 featuring Ali Campbell never fail to deliver & I’ve seen them live endless times. Although in this gig the organisers gave them only an hours time slot - they knocked out hit after hit & had the crowd in the whole park in St Albans up on their feet. Even the first timers I met who’d never seen UB40 featuring Ali Campbell before, said they’d loved it & wouldn’t hesitate in booking a ticket to see them live . What was super lovely to see was all the younger crowd under 10 enjoying the tunes of the best UK reggae band. This group are top of their game at every single time- they have a n amazing drummer, the best & coolest Sax player & Frank B is such a great all rounder & whole band along with legendary unique voice of Ali Campbell are just phenomenal. This is the 3rd time I’ve seen them this year & I saw them 3 times last year & have already booked for the “Hits tour” for 2024

Love love love UB40 ft Ali - they always put on a superb gig & I go as many times I year as possible & have followed Ali for over 40plus years. See you in Sept 🥰

Was disappointed that no one explained that the support band weren’t playing, bad that the bar lines for drinks were in excess of 1 hour to get a drink BUT…. UB40 certainly lived up to expectations! Such a fun night!!!! So many great old songs and loved the new songs too. Atmosphere was fantastic!!!

Great show! Amazing sound and video quality! One BAD element was the percussionist using profanity. The F word and the S word in a reggae show rang in my head like fingernails across a chalkboard☹️

Absolute brilliant show I got to the front of the stage and it was the best show I’ve ever seen! Brilliant tribute to Astro! Thanks Ali for the show!

Absolutely amazing evening and a fitting tribute to the genius that was Astro. Some old, some new, but every track perfect. Fantastic night at a great venue.

Outstanding show!! Ali and his incredible band blew the roof off the O2! (pardon the pun). Astro was very much part of the show with beautiful incorporated tributes, which the whole audience loved, and I personally found very emotional. A fantastic night!

Absolutely brilliant!! Been trying to see them since more than 20 years ago. Sounded great, song selection on point. My only critique- 1.5 hours long, too short for my taste. Recommended fully

UB40 always puts on an awesome show! I’ve been seeing them since I was a teenager. I’ll see them every chance I get! And Shaggy was super entertaining and fun! I was not expecting to love him so much! The Green was also very good. I had never heard of them, but they did a fantastic job and were very entertaining. I would see them all again!

Great show! Great venue. It was all pretty chill until the drunk Steve Austin WWF wrestler lookalike decided to get into a fight. Other than it was a fun night.

100 % best entertaining live act out there like the best night out every time u go and you can't wait for next well done boys smashed it again xx
