About this concert
Tõnu Kõrvits
„Tiibade hääl“ / Trilogy III
The brightest piece of the trilogy is ‘Tiibade hääl’ in the Estonian language, which radiates more light than others. This is a song about flying, dreams, courage, and unconditional love.

Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir Biography
The Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir (EPCC) is one of the best-known Estonian music ensembles in the world. The EPCC was founded in 1981 by Tõnu Kaljuste, who was the Artistic Director for twenty years. He was succeeded by Paul Hillier, Daniel Reuss and Kaspars Putniņš. Since August 2021 the Chief Conductor is Tõnu Kaljuste.
The choir’s repertoire extends from baroque to the music of the 21st century, with a special focus on the Estonian composers, such as Arvo Pärt, Veljo Tormis and others. Each season the choir gives about 50 concerts in Estonia and abroad.
