Aptly described as a word juggler and a poet, Jessica Heine is a long-time contributor to the folk music scene in Edmonton, Alberta. She recently released a new album, Build Again, with Fallen Tree Records> Heine's classically trained voice ranges from quiet vulnerability to raw strength with artfully constructed lyrics that shine through in ten new odes to personal growth. Build Again is filled with songs of strength and restoration, leaving behind the fragility revealed on Heine's last album, 2019's Goodbye Party, which accepted loss, of all kind. Jessica Heine masterfully enriches her community through song, love and the wordplay that has allowed her reputation to bloom.

Wow! What an explosion of experiences. Jessica was flawless; a great voice combining skills, articulation, and blending matched perfectly with the band and support singers. Jessica's music enthralled and captivated a live audience, from Paul Simon to Hildegard of Bingen.
