About this concert
VALAGON er et band fra Bergen med Alf Holme på gitar, Tim Skønberg på trommer, Ronny Olsen på bass, Roy Bjørge på tangenter og Jante på vokal. Valagon spiller rå, drivende og melodiøs rock som best kan beskrives som et hybrid av forskjellige rocke-sjangre og epoker. Tekstene tar opp flere temaer som fri vilje, kontroll, uavhengighet, forholdsdynamikk, det å ta vare på barnet i seg selv, personlig identitet og friheten til å være seg selv og drømme.
Den første singelen til bandet, “Talking About You”, ble utgitt 20. desember 2023, og ble i år etterfulgt av ytterligere to singelutgivelser i januar (I Love The Sun) og februar (I Feel It Rising) før debutalbumet “Glowing Eyes“ kom 15. mars.

“…..De låtene som fungerer best på platen var også de det svingte best av nede i den svette kjelleren. Da kan jeg nevne kutt som «Talking About You», «I Love The Sun» og «I Feel It Rising». Hammondorgelet som krydret opplevelsen fra sidelinjen var absolutt gull. Det ga lytteopplevelsen en ekstra dimensjon. I førstnevnte gjorde bassisten en suveren jobb. Samtlige kutt fra debuten “Glowing Eyes» ble fremført i sin helhet denne kvelden. Vel blåst karer. Dette var overbevisende saker.”

HEARTSHAKER består av Lennart, Elias, Bjørn Arild, Haino, og Franco.
Med inspirasjon fra 70-, 80- og 90-tallet er Heartshaker et melodiøst og melankolsk men samtidig kompromissløst rockeband som vet å levere et skikkelig rock´n roll show.
Heartshaker har gitt ut musikk siden 2020 og slapp i fjor EPen Eostre, og høstet gode kritikker på denne:

VALAGON Biography
Valagon is a band from Bergen with Alf Holme on guitar, Tim Skønberg on drums, Ronny Olsen on bass, Roy Bjørge on keyboards, and Jante on vocals. Valagon plays raw, driving, and melodic rock that can best be described as a hybrid of various rock genres and eras. The lyrics address several themes such as free will, control, independence, relationship dynamics, personal identity, and the freedom to be oneself and dream.
The band's first single, "Talking About You," was released on December 20, 2023, followed by two more single releases in January ("I Love The Sun") and February ("I Feel It Rising") in 2024 before the debut album "Glowing Eyes" was released on March 15th.
