Sugar Roulette are bringing the party to Newcastle, with their first headliner in the Toon joined by the wonderful The Worry People.
Having shared line-ups with renowned acts such as Circa Waves, The Zutons, and The Mysterines. Sugar Roulette are an alternative/indie rock band known for their high-energy performances and versatility, that take pride in their ability to experiment across different genres, earning praise from NARC. Magazine - “The band wear their influences with pride, and they’re keen to produce a selection of tunes that cannot be categorised under the same umbrella.”.
Their latest single, "Fever Dream," released in September 2023 which received radio play on stations such as BBC Introducing North East, Spark Sunderland & Amazing Radio UK & US, delves into the tumultuous emotions of everyday life, drawing inspiration from bands like Queens of the Stone Age, Radiohead and Pixies, NE Volume Magazine described it as “The single takes you on an auditory rollercoaster of emotion”

Sharing line-ups with renowned acts such as Circa Waves, The Sherlocks, and The Mysterines. Sugar Roulette are an alternative-rock band that take pride in their ability to experiment across different genres, earning praise from NARC. Magazine - “The band wear their influences with pride, and they’re keen to produce a selection of tunes that cannot be categorised under the same umbrella.”
Their musical journey began with the release of their debut single, "Tranquility Lane," in March 2022, coinciding with a sold-out headline show, the track was described as “uplifting and synthy dream pop sound with warm vocals” from Music from the Misfits. This was followed by the more edgy and dynamic track, "DEJA FOOL," in April 2023, often serving as a high-energy finale to their live performances, where the vocalist Reece is known for their off-stage presence.
