While growing up in Bakersfield, California, her developing interest in the music industry led to a friendship with hit songwriter Clay Mills (“Don’t Think I Don’t Think About It”) and inspired a life-changing decision. She sold everything she owned, jumped on a plane, and moved across the country to pursue her dreams in Nashville. Ash began crafting her career one stage and one fan at a time. Her journey took her from long nights playing in Nashville’s lower Broadway honky-tonks and touring the country playing bars to working consistently in the writing rooms on Music Row and having her songs recorded by multiple artists. Ash’s 2019 debut EP, Bakersfield, rose to #60 on the iTunes Top 100 Country Albums Chart with positive reviews from critics and fans alike. The Bakersfield Country Music Awards honored her achievements and contributions to the famous Bakersfield sound. She was named “One to Watch” by the Nashville Songwriters Association International and won an international songwriting award in 2021. Her 2023 three-song acoustic EP, The Acoustic Sessions, quickly became a fan favorite, and she appeared in multiple episodes of the hit television series Nashville on CMT Network.
