About this concert
The Other Songs Live returns to The London Palladium for the biggest live performance-based celebration of songwriters of all time on Monday 20 May 2024. Presented by The Other Songs in partnership with The Ivors Academy, the event will raise money for three music charities: The BRIT School, The Ivors Academy Trust and Nordoff and Robbins.
The Other Songs Live is an event that celebrates the most distinguished living songwriters, offering unparalleled access to both legendary and emerging talent. Audiences can expect a combination of performances, interviews, and storytelling, bringing them “back stage” as The Other Songs delves into the origins of some of the greatest songs ever written. The Other Songs Live is one of the official events of Ivors Week – an appreciation of songwriters and their craft building up to the iconic awards show Ivors with Amazon Music on Thursday 23 May.

Absolutely wonderful and the crowd was mesmerized. Although unfortunately not a 5 star based solely on the fact that due to health issues, Tom Odell, was not able to finalize the performance. Understandable but when you take time off work, travel over 1000kms just for the concert, it leaves you with a bittersweet taste in your mouth. Wanting the full concert experience, specially since it was so magical to begin with. However, in better health, under normal circumstances, it would have been a 5+, no doubt.
