Neyna is a leading figure in contemporary Cape Verdean music, winning the Popular Music Award of the Year at the Cape Verde Music Awards in 2023 with "Akanadja" and again this year, proving her prominent status. Her recognition skyrocketed in 2020 when Nelson Freitas invited her to collaborate on "Na Bo Mon," which has garnered 6 million views on YouTube.

With a growing fan base, Neyna consistently releases iconic tracks like "Tempo Para," "Uh," and "Spadja Pé," each accumulating millions of views on YouTube and Spotify. In 2023, she released "Menino Veneno" and performed at NOS Alive, one of Europe's biggest festivals. She also released successful singles "Bem Li" and "Preta."
