Ray Chenez is a dynamic and distinctive countertenor redefining his voice type on the world’s top stages. Praised for his vocal beauty, dramatic instinct, and rare flexibility, he has appeared at Glyndebourne, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Oper Frankfurt, Grand Théâtre de Genève, and more. Highlights of the 2024–26 seasons include major role debuts at Komische Oper Berlin, Theater Bonn, Royal Danish Theater, and the Ancient Roman Theatre in Plovdiv. A George London Award winner, Chenez has collaborated with leading conductors and appeared in acclaimed productions across Europe, with performances featured on Harmonia Mundi, Naxos, and Oehms Classics.
