John Millea

John Millea (pronounced Mill-ay) is a singer-songwriter with a passion for storytelling. Drawing inspiration from life and Scripture, John writes lyrically driven songs that are rich, authentic, and deeply spiritual. “My training and background is in ministry, so I guess I’m a songwriter with the heart of a preacher,” he says.

John relishes live performances where he has the opportunity to weave his songs together with the stories and experiences that inspired them. “Stories are meant to be told. Songs are meant to be sung. And there’s nothing like opening your heart up to people and having them respond and say, ‘Amen.’ Almost as though they’re saying, ‘That’s my song too. You’re telling my story too.’”
