Sagalina Biography

Sagalina is an RnB singer-songwriter based in Lausanne, Switzerland.
She is above all a cheerful and sunny person, who loves sharing her energy with people around her, especially on stage, where she instantly connects with her audience. Her inspirations are Soul Divas such as Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey, but also contemporary RnB artists such as SZA, H.E.R., or Bryson Tiller with his more Trap-like productions.

The artist has first charmed her followers with her covers: in French, English, or even Albanian, the artist embraces the songs with ease and originality. This presence on social networks opened doors for her. In 2019, she was invited by rapper ROBLE to collaborate on a song that honors Somali culture. "Harimaadee" had a real impact in several countries all around the globe.
Sagalina releases her first song in July 2021. "Kiss Kiss" - featuring Liberian artist Sekzy - is an Afrobeats track that had us dance all summer and keeps being one of her fans' favorite.
She then took a turn and decided to embrace the musical style that had always inspired her: soulful yet quite rhythmic R&B. She releases her debut EP "DRIP OF HONEY" on November 25th, 2022, which you might've heard the lead single "CANNOT STAY" on air on Couleur 3.
This project allowed the Lausanne-based artist to get attention: interviews on Couleur 3 NAYUNO, finalist of the contest Demotape Clinic 2023 in "Lyrics & Beats", and selected by FCMA for their Step Up! program - while also performing throughout Romandie, including at Montreux Jazz Festival.
