About this concert
Debra returns to Los Angeles to play some Rockin' Blues, Swing, & Rockabilly at the Pasadena Ballroom. Gathering a group of super talented Los Angeles musicians together to play after a 5 year absence. Karen Hammack-piano, John McDuffie-guitar, Dave Victorino-saxophone, Randy Landas-upright bass and Gary Hess on drums. Tickets are $25. Karen, John and Dave recorded "That's Right" with Debra before she moved back to Austin.

We drove 4 hours through pouring rain to hear Debra and her band. Totally worth it! Always a treat to hear her sultry voice. Sometime soulful, sometimes just fun. It's especially nice when her sister harmonizes. I'm happy just listening but loved watching everyone dance. The dance floor is never empty.

Debra Watson & the Smokin Aces are a force of energy, a favorite among many Austin dancers. Their eclectic mix of Rockin’ Blues, Swingin’ Jazz, Rockabilly and Western Swing will drive you out of your chair and have you dancing all night long. Watson brings heart to every song along with a heaping spoonful of her native Texas Sass. This 5-7 piece band includes, piano/organ, saxophone, guitar, upright bass, drums, and sisterly harmonies depending on the venue.
